You know the whole "look good on the bike and off the bike" deal but how much do you really see it on our site? Well not nearly enough. But that's changing now.

Thanks to our new photographer Nick Davis we've got some great pics to share. A few of our friends from our hometown dealer Richmond Bicycle Studio took a spin in our threads this past Sunday. From road to coffee shop, I'll know you'll agree that they look great proving just how versatile a piece of our gear is.

Thanks Nick!  And standby for more pics.

Hi,

I see you all had a nice ride but where is the coffeeshop? :-)

No helmet great stuff!!!
Helmets are for who never driven a bike or who drive a bike on the highway (where it is needed!)

I have fallend down backwards of the back of the bike once without a helmet. But fallen lots of time on my knees and elbows but had no helmet. Would a helmet helped with my bruses?

Have a great day

Helmet Nazi is cute. Godwin’s Law usually takes a little longer to play out.

The website you linked to is an example of “advocacy research”. Similar rhetorical approaches are used by the tobacco advocates and climate change deniers. Doesn’t mean the conclusions are wrong, just that the arguments are most persuasive to people who already believe the conclusion. I am specifically referring to the straw man argument and the table listing advantages and disadvantages of wearing helmets.

Richmond is a great town, and RoadHolland is right to feature it.

I love the jerseys and their photos! Will these be available all spring?

Love the vibe of this photo shoot! Kudos to Nick for the great shots; I think he captured RVA on two wheels perfectly…makes me want to go ride around in our beautiful city even more than usual. Also, happy to say I am a Road Holland wearer….just a super rad local company and definitely my go to for the coffee shop rides

When I’m riding my bike, I l always wear a helmet, and sometimes I wear Road Holland. Just about every time I’ve got a road Holland jersey on, someone compliments me on my good taste. I wear it when I think I might do something civilized, like stop for coffee somewhere with friends. People say nice things about my Road Holland clothing then, too. Perhaps it’s because I have the good sense to remove my helmet. Nice photos, Road Holland. I don’t think helmets would detract one iota.

Umm, why is it inevitable that the first comment here is from a Helmet Nazi?

But to answer the HN’s question:

We’re grown-ups; we don’t need, nor appreciate, being told what to do here in the Land of the Free.

Since the HN may require more than an assertion that we are free to choose as we like, here’s just a smattering of the potential rebuttal arguments:

Umm, why no helmets?

You can be legal, safe, and stylish. Or legal, safe and not stylish.

Just wear your helmets.
